Project Overview
As part of a complete bathroom renovation project, we were responsible for designing and installing the electrical elements that helped bring this modern bathroom to life.
The aim was to create a bright, practical and contemporary space while incorporating feature lighting to enhance the overall appearance of the room.
The result is a clean, modern bathroom that combines functional task lighting with subtle feature lighting to create a premium finish.
Scope of Works
- Installation of four white LED downlights
- Installation of an IP66-rated LED strip light within the shower bulkhead
- Installation of a Bluetooth illuminated mirror
- Integrated demister pad connection
- Integrated shaver socket connection
- New bathroom lighting circuits
- Testing, inspection and certification
Feature Lighting Design
One of the key features of this installation was the concealed LED strip lighting installed beneath the built-out shower bulkhead.
The IP66-rated LED strip provides a soft architectural glow across the shower enclosure, helping to highlight the tiled finish while adding depth and character to the room.
Unlike traditional bathroom lighting that relies solely on ceiling lights, the addition of feature lighting creates a far more luxurious appearance and helps transform the overall feel of the space.
Practical Lighting for Everyday Use
To ensure the room remained bright and functional, four LED downlights were installed to provide even illumination throughout the bathroom.
The lighting layout was designed to eliminate dark areas while complementing the feature lighting and illuminated mirror.
A Bluetooth mirror with integrated demister pad and shaver socket was also installed, providing both convenience and additional task lighting around the basin area.
